About Our Course

All Virginia Driver Improvement Courses are required to be a minimum of 8-hours long. This 8-hour course can be completed at your own pace.

This program will teach you about:

• Driving emergencies
• Alcohol, drugs, and driving
• Driver distractions
• DUI prevention
• Traffic collisions and insurance
• Safe driving strategies
• Accident prevention
• Virginia traffic laws
• Traffic signs and control lights
• And more!

Final Exam

After you finish the course, you must pass an online final exam with a score of 80% or higher. The exam contains 50 multiple-choice questions, and you have an unlimited number of attempts to pass. If you fail the exam, you must wait 24 hours before your next attempt.

Certificate

Once you successfully complete the course and final exam, you will receive your certificate of completion by email within 24 hours. We will also automatically report your course completion to the Virginia DMV.
